hi guys

i want to ask a little bit question ..

iin my country it s very cold now cz it s winter & my room is very cold

i always monitor my Gpu which is GTX 650 Ti BOOST ASUS

in Idle GPU Temp is 25-26-27 Degree
when i play Games
i tried Dead space 2 , the temprature is 58 c maximum
when i play Medal of Honor warfighter i notice it reach 64
i know that those temps are good & within limit ,
but i m a little bit worry about the spring & summer cz the temps will rise very well & it seems that i have a poor case airflow only three fans , one for PSU & one For CPU & one in the case which is not always working good

should i be worried about those things?? ..can we consider 64 degree is high in the winter ???

Please advise me

Thanks

GPUs are usually rated to operate close to 90ºC, so yours is working like a breeze. You have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Over here you can see an usual working condition for you card:

As you can see, yours is below average by a good margin.

thanks ..i know, what did they say in anadtech is well achieved in my pc ...but what i m worry about is that they are achieved in the winter ...in the summer the degree will rise up & i m predicting that the idle temp will reach 40 but i m worry about the load temp in the summer ...i m afraid that will hurt my gpu

Hi again.

You must also factor in your VGA's dynamic fan control. The fan is probably auto-set to a slower rotation since there is no need for cooling. In summer, the fan you run at higher speeds and that gives you further thermal headroom. In the end, I believe the worst case scenario is your PC becoming very noisy.

If it helps, I used to live in a city where we got 40º C quite often, and at the time I had a PC with a 120W CPU and VGA with similar power draw to yours (200+ on load). I could barely stand the heat emanating from the case on top of the ambient hellfire we were used to, and still the PC never had an issue with heat. In the worst days I'd remove the side covers on the case to improve airflow, which beats any number of case fans. At one point I had a power problem from overclocking the CPU, and my shitty PSU's cables almost melted, but heat was never a big problem.
