Hi all,
Warm Greetings !!

I did my first Desktop Build.
I am using i7 4770K and Noctua NH-U14S Air Cooler with dual fans and low noise cables.

After my build , I saw that the temperature for my CPU in BIOS is 38 °C.
And MOBO has 28 °C.

Am I in good shape.
Just wondering did I did everything correctly.

I could see this below site posted 26 °C in idle. :(

http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/noctua_nh_u14s/4.htm

Please suggest ?

Thank you for the quick reply.

But this site shows the ideal reading should be 26°C
http://

While installing the only mistake I did is I need to place the fan on the cpu 5 - 7 times & move little here and there to properly align it.
SO the thermal paste was dancing in the bottom. And I finally fixed it :(

Do I need to re-fix :(

By every processor i meant every i7 is not the same in terms of silicon embedded in it.
By testing conditions i meant if they are in colder sorroundings.

Hmmm,
I do understand where you are coming from.
But the point is for the same i7 4770K and NOCTUA fan SETUP at normal room temperatures say 69F.

I don't understand why there is 10°C changes in temperatures.
That too just ideal readings.

Also when spending around 100$ for FAN it should do its best , I guess ?
or I might be doing something wrong :(
