Is this speaker system a upgrade over my current speakers?

I am using the Dell AY 410 speakers which have a sub woofer.
I am trying to declutter my desk of the sub woofer so I just want to know if the Bose Companion 2 Series III Multimedia Speakers which DONT have a sub woofer will match my Current speakers in terms of bass and audio quality.

The Dell costed me half of what the Bose System costs,lol,so I just wanna know if I can expect at least similar audio quality.Thanks in advance for helping

generally speaking, BOSE is garbage, and 95% of their research is about how to market the stuff, not how to design it for great audio quality. if you're willing to spend money for GOOD speakers, hit up a professional audio / music shop and see what they have for small powered studio monitors. they will cost more, but be MUCH better than BOSE and will last you a long time.
