I'm wondering if any of you guys know if there are any 1440p G Sync Monitors out yet? If not could anyone let me know of an expected release date? Thanks! I've tired looking on Google but couldn't find anything.

1440p isn't even worth it. It only has 15ppi more then 1200p and costs double. I guess if you absolutely have to have that 1 and 1/2 inch increase in width on each side then its worth it. But its nearly the same vertically to get a 1200p monitor. I had the dell 2713hm for 3 days and returned it. What a waste of money. I could get 2 1200p monitors for 1 1440p. Not only that, but 1440p isn't going to be mainstream. I just don't see it. Seeing as 4k is here and they will likely just jump to that as they get cheaper. Dell 2412m is the best!

1440p is fantastic, and a great option for folks wanting higher resolution in a 16:9 aspect. Youre talking about "mainstream" concerns as a PC user with a 16:10 monitor? Curious

IMO, 2560x1440/1600 should be the new monitor standard (over 1920x1080/1200). It offers improved ppi without disproportionate performance requirements. I totally agree with you that 1440p has remained a premium far too long...4K displays will hopefully push their price to where they should be (300.00 - 400.00 MSRP). That said, I bought my display for 520.00 new.

A 15 increase in PPI is not worth double the price of a 1200p. a 24 inch monitor at 1200p is almost identical to a 27 inch at 1440p picture qaulity wise. There is point in getting 1440p unless you need those 3 extra inches.
