I am getting a new pc soon and have seen that some come with SSD & HDD combined.
What is the consensus on this? I am not a 'Techie' so I do not want to make any problems for myself. The new pc has 120GB ssd and 2TB hdd. Is it the norm to partition large drive or leave them alone?
I use photo programs and a little DTP. Only games I play are 'Total War' series, and am thinking of using Windows 7.
I have rambled on a bit. Sorry but this is my first post.

IMHO, the PRIMARY attraction of an SSD is reliability not loading speed. Most of the hype is directed toward speed, however. The SSD will boot and load programs faster but after a few weeks you won't notice it any more. The reliability will last much longer. The small boot drive, large storage drive config you mention is becoming the standard configuration.
