I have a AMD a8-6600k and i am going to buy a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 770 and i was just wondering will i be able to use that graphics card on my PC?

Solution
Lol, you should have said so earlier. This is a "Startech" that's the brand. I can't read the model number because it's too small, but it doesn't matter it's a very weak unit, so it won't support a GTX-770. You will need to replace your PSU as well.

But I don't know if you read my previous comment. Your A8 CPU is really not the best to go with such a powerful card it will probably bottleneck it, so it's a bad combo.

I would suggest instead you get a GTX-760 with a better PSU.

You CPU might bottleneck it a little bit. I wonder why you got the A8 in the first place if you were going to upgrade for a GTX-770. Bad combo. It will still work but not with optimal performance.

It's also very important to verify that your PSU has the capacity to support the card. Just open your case and look at what PSU brand & model you got and post it here. We'll tell you if it's powerful enough to handle a 770.

No, we need brand & model. If you can't read it on the side, take it out of the case completely.

Or I don't know if you have a list of all hardware inside your PC. This should be included on your bill you got from the store you bought it from.
