my cpu is not working... actually smps is not starting after giving the power.. but the light in my motherboard is glowing..

Please refer to the computer as "Computer" not CPU. The CPU is the microprocessor on the motherboard inside the computer.

Can you describe what is happening, or what is not happening when you power up the computer?

Also, give us some more information about the computer. Make, Model, Motherboard, CPU, Power Supply, etc.
