I am currently running Windows 7 alongside Ubuntu. Suppose, I want to download a game or software of 1 GB or more on Ubuntu but it is supported for Windows 7 only. Can I download it on Ubuntu?

Most recent Linux kernels include full support for NTFS file systems, so yes - you will be able to download your game, and store it on the Windowds partition. Most probably, you won't be able to play it ;)

That's OK.
I have transmission Bit torrent client on Ubuntu.
(1) Is it the same as uTorrent in Windows 7?
(2) Can I be able to download movies through torrent links by transmission Bit torrent client or have I to download uTorrent client for Ubuntu separately to use torrent movie links?
(3) Can I see the movies in Windows 7 which I have downloaded through Ubuntu torrent clients and vice versa?

Transmission for Linux is pretty much the standard Linux torrent client and will work largely the same uTorrrent on windows.
Torrents are torrents, they will work the same with any torrent client.

Ubuntu can see movies on your windows partition
Windows cannot see your Ubuntu partition. Big failure on Microsoft's part to implement ext4 filesystem in windows...
You can simply tell your ubuntu torrent client to download to your windows partition to mitigate that issue.
