First of all the computer has to handle some communication protocols.
Second, you don't render any videos, they are just being streamed into your computer, just as heavy as managing a media player visualization

ok, so for online video streaming , all it takes is cpu cycles right? the more powerful the CPU lesser usage? so i3 with intel hd would be like a i3 with a gpu? eg hd 6770?
i have a AMD A8 4500m "quad" core ( i dont really think it is a true quad core) and i get 10-15% cpu usage on 360p videos is that normal? i also have 7670m gpu
ok thnx ,but a lil off topic here but, i have noticed by keeping two laptops with an i3(even 1st gen) and mine with a8 4500m , when extracting intel one takes far lesser time! i mean if not over but my cpu must be eqaul to a 1st gen i3?
It depends on the program that you use. For instance, 7zip is one of the few free zip/rar file managers that truly utilizes multicore CPUs. Also, storage read/write speeds have to be taken into account...
i saw this on a blackbox game it needed to extract and it took atleast 10 min more than the i3 350m, that means x86 performance per core is faster than my a8 ?
yeah, i knw that and winrar supports multi thrreading too did a bench and im at par with i5 2520m well not that bad i guess, this lappy was cheap with 7670m so i bought it , it runs gammes pretty well crysis 3 at gamer at <40> fps
AMD is kindda "it works" solution thnx for your help bro!
