I used my flashed drive yesterday and pulled it out of my computer while it was in sleep mode. When I went to get files off it again my laptop did not recognize it. I went to a total of 3 different computers and the same thing. It makes a noise when I connect it so the coputer is picking up something but when I look for the drive it is not listed under computer. I am running Windows 8 in my laptop. Any suggestions of how I can get my files off this drive would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

See if the drive is listed in Disk Manager but does not have a partition or a drive letter assigned to it.
If not, you can bring it to a PC repair shop and see if they can solder on a new USB connector or electronics onto your flash memory to preserve the data.
A word of advice, never keep your only copy of data on a removable drive, use them for backup or for moving files from system to system.
