So at 28 I've decided to rock this again as a hobby. I have a decent base of stuff I got from Tiger Direct for a little over $600. I have to keep this build down and plan on upgrading in 3 months in the GPU area. This card would be to hold me over so I can get online and play BF4 and PS2. I prefer high graphics and will get up to a 280x in a couple of months, when this bitcoin fad drops off.

Just need help, I have an fx-6350 that is gonna be overclocked, with 16 gb ram and a mobo capable of 3x gpu (crossfire or sli). I'll be hooking up to service 1080p at 60 htz maybe 75htz. Thanks for any insight into this, if you ned any more info, just let me know!

also the 7790 is supposed to benefit from the mantle update for bf4 (who knows really by how much, but by at least a little bit)

the gtx 770 is the equivalent card to the 280x if the prices don't come down by the time you want to upgrade (only loses to the 280x in amd optimized games, and of course probably mantle games after the update as they were already basically even beforehand)

So that 660 ti i see popping up for like $155 is better than the 7790? 2GB or 1GB really make much of a difference other than price?
