For some reason I am unable to permanently remove a folder from any of my removable drives. I right click on a folder and select delete and it disappears as it should. However, when I reconnect the drive, all of the empty folders show back up. The files remain deleted.This is happening on every removable drive (USB as well as eSata). Where it gets really strange is that even after completely wiping the drives with a 4 Pass algorithm and creating a new partition, the empty folders will show up again. It also does not matter what computer I plug the drives into. The ghost folders are there. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks.
Deleted Folders keep showing up on all removable drives.
