It's not a dedicated GPU. It's integrated. Thus on the same dye as the CPU. So there's not much you can do, besides

get a new computer/get a discrete GPU put in. But I think it's unlikely you can get a discrete one put in and if it's possible, then

it's bound to be difficult as laptops don't have much room. Have you considered getting a desktop PC, if you don't already have one?

They're much easier to upgrade.

1) The HD Graphics are built into the CPU. So to upgrade those you need to upgrade the CPU. Also the motherboard needs to support the CPU with better Intel Graphics

2) If its a Desktop you need to purchase an Add-in card that is an Nvidia or AMD Chip on it. There are many manufactors that makes them like. EVGA, XFX, Zodac, Sapphire ect.

3) If its a laptop some laptops have the CPU soildered in and are none upgradable and you are stuck. Even if its not you can't find Laptop CPU's in the store really. Gotta look for them online and most of them are probably used.

You can't change your integrated graphics card, if that is what you're asking.

You can although update its video drivers and see if that helps.

With a HD3000, you don't have much choice. Very low settings and 800x600 rez in most games, if playable at all.
