i7 4770k Drivers

Hi All,
Warm GReetings,
I completed my first build.
I am just wondering which drivers I should install for my i7 4770K on WINDOWS 8 64BIT PRO Platform.
Does Intel CPU comes with driver installation CD ?.
Alternatively I downloaded from Intel's site driver for i7 4770K

but my system says driver cannot be installed because it is not supported ?

I have NVIDIA Driver for my GTX 770 GPU Display.PLease advise ?

There is no driver for CPU.

You can use Intel INF Update Utility, to verify that you have the newst drivers for you motherboard chipset.

intel cpu does not come with drivers, but your windows will typically perform auto updates for your cpu.

typically do not worry about cpu drivers until you have your windows drivers, then gpu drivers, then other peripheral drivers

I think I even need not do a search for INTEL INF updates right ?
Because my MOBO is MSI GD65 and it installed its drivers.

Also in my laptop it has Intel i7 4770 processor , when I right click it shows intel graphics properties and power saving options etc.BUt I cannot see this in my desktop ?

Are Intel Desktop and Mobile processors one and the same ?

in a desktop this is done in either the nvidia control panel or the intel control panel or the amd catalyst control center depening on your hardware. The mobile and desktop processors are NOT the same.

your best solution would basically be to just restart. find a way to completely wipe the hard-drive (just google how to do fresh system install) and just install the essential drivers from your msi cd (don't install programs that don't apply to you, use common sense) and install the base drivers from the cd that came with your gpu (also use discression to not install un-needed programs)

I need to download ha-swell driver .
