I have a Logitech clearchat comfort USB headset , suddenly it stopped working , the computer (runs win7) used to switch automatically to the headset when i plugged it in but now it doesnt , i've tried different USB ports with the same result .
I tried the fail search in the control panel and it says the unit is working .
Could something have changed in the settings ???
Much greatfull for help with this problem

try this link, if it helps you:

Or
rei-nstall the drivers and set it up, set it as the default output device in the sound properties. When you want sound from the speakers, just unplug the USB headset, and Windows will default back to the onboard sound since it's the only audio device present. If you plug the USB headset back in later, it will take over as the default since it will remember that setting. I am not 100% sure but I think it works better if you always use the same USB port for the headset.
