Hi.
(This Thread may be one for my Chrome OS and Linux Bros!)

I just have some questions about installing Chromium OS or Chrome OS (I don't know which one is right) On what i personally call a "HackBox" (a home built Micro PC running Chrome OS). So here are my questions:

1. Where is the best website to download Chromium OS?
2. Does WiFi/LAN/Ethernet work on this Chrome OS build?
3. Is the build automatically a rooted version?
4. Can i install Java on it?
5. Is there anything else i should know?

1. The best Chrome OS builds are probably from Hexxeh : chromeos.hexxeh.net/
2. It depends on your hardware
3. You do not need to root if you do not use an official ChromeOS device
4. See here : https://code.google.com/p/java-on-chromebook/
5. Check all peripherals for support before you install

Wifi will depend on what wifi chipset you have.... and weather or not there is linux drivers for it.
If there is you may or may not need to install proprietary firmware for it to work.
