The 4130 is a 4 core 3.8 ghz 125w processor by AMD, the 6300 is a 6 core 3.5 GHz (4.1) 95w processor, why is there a 4.1 in brackets? And which one should I buy with a 600w PSU, money is an issue and the 4130 is a bit cheaper, it is also by amd

The 4.1 GHz is the boost clock. Go with the 6300. The 600W PSU will be more than enough to power it; just make sure that it can power the graphics card you're gonna be using.

The brackets indicate turbo speed. The 6100 is better and I would go with it if it is between those two.

Also just to make sure the is a CPU cooler that comes with all of these CPUs right?

Yes, both include a cooler with them.

What does turbo speed mean? Overcock speed? Max over clock speed? Can you just set it from turbo to non? If its in turbo can you over clock it?

Turbo is an automatic pseudo-overclock that is enabled by default. You can disable it but there would be no point. You can overclock beyond the turbo point but only with a motherboard and good enough heat sink.

Basically, the CPU will adjust itself to different frequencies based on what it is trying to do. More demanding tasks will let it boost to the bracketed number, but at idle, it will be even below the base speed.

By heat sink do you mean the cooler that comes with it? How much do you think I could get it to (GHz) with the stock cooler, my board is the Asus m5a97, does that support over clocking ? And if so up to what point?

You can over clock as much as you want but you have to have good cooling system if you plan overclock ver 5GHz. You can take the CoolerMaster 212 and overclock your processor to 4,2/4,3 GHz.

What can I get done with the stock cooler?

Yes, I believe that board will allow overclocking. I do not know the limits on the stock cooler but it will achieve the turbo boost without an aftermarket heat sink. Perhaps even a bit more without buying a new one, but it is generally not recommended.

Any grafics cards you guys recommend under $150 that is comparable with the 6300 AMD , Asus m5a97 board and will work with a 600wpsu.

GTX 650ti would probably be a good fit.

Not bad videocard, could play on medium most of the games!

The 650 ti is within the $150 budget. Amazon actually has one as low as $130. You can get a 7770 a bit cheaper but you would be much better off with a 650 ti.

What do you think about the radeon 7790? I had it recommended and it looks pretty good

It's not bad but still inferior to a 650 ti.

Avoid that site like the plague. Horribly unreliable info.

The 7790 is very close to the 650 ti but the 650 ti edges it out slightly. Also, Nvidia gpus are less reliant on a good cpu, and ironically are a better fit for AMD cpus.
