Hey there,

I'll make this short and sweet, i don't have much money and want a gaming computer. But not to buy one right away, I want a computer that starts out as an i5, and has upgrade room in the case. As high as $600. So simply put I want a computer that is good and i can upgrade.

Much appreciated!!

I built a mini ITX pc. It has an AMD Athlon x4 750k processor, and a Radeon 7850, which is quite a bit better than the one provided in the links I gave you. Keep in mind...

Well 2 things:
1- Any pc is upgradable :) if its a pc u build yourself u can always upgrade
2-The i5 is not something good for a 600 budget :/ a good mobo/i5 combo is between 250-350 dollars, so........
A question; What are you going to do with this pc?

If you go with an intel processor you probably wont find a pc cheap enough for you. Your best bet for this price range would be to go with AMD. I provided links to both an AMD and intel prebuilt. The AMD will be better for the price, and keep in mind that there are other AMD prebuilt pc's out there that have even better performance, this is just the one I found.

Hey,

I'm going to play high reso games like ARMA 3 and 2, And like everything start small. right now I'm on a Intel Centrino on my laptop, it runs fast but not ARMA fast. So all in all, I want a new PC for games, to upgrade, not to buy all the parts and put the whole thing together separately, but to buy a starting base.

Does that give context?
Thanks again.

What is your build? Should I get one of these?

Keep in mind that if you choose to build the pc yourself you can greatly reduce the price of the build. It will take a bit more work, but I think you might find it to be for fun than you think.
If you still decide to go with a prebuilt I would suggest you get one with a decent processor, ram, etc., but get one without a graphics card so that you can choose what graphics card you want to put in it, and buy it separately.

Windows 8 is ok, I opted for windows 7, but I have used windows 8. They removed the start button which is the main complaint, but microsoft has stated that they plan to re-add it soon. Other than that it's pretty much the same. It also has more efficient program management, and boots up faster, so there are benefits to getting windows 8.
