So starting about 10 days ago I have been getting really terrible network lag, and that's when the game actually loads. Normally the game doesn't load, and after 20 min I'll shut it down. When it does load, I will try spawning and it will take 30 sec. When I look at the map it looks like the other player positions are updating every 5 sec. when I get into the game it is completely unplayable because of the 5 sec between every players moving. I'm not exaggerating at all. I was able to play it fine from launch day till last week and my internet hasn't slowed any. please help if you can, recommend a network test or similar and I can post any results, thanks in advance.

if you have a cable modem. try power cycling it to see if your on a bad server with your isp. in the game try another server to see if there an issue with the server or the internet between you and the game. try turning off your anti virus and firewall see if there causing you lag. try using google open dns to see if your isp. try updating your network card and motherboard chipset drivers.

I tried everything you said with no success, but i don't know what you mean by "try using google open dns to see if your isp"

my specs are fx-8350 @ 4.5ghz | Msi 280x @ 1150/1600 | G.skill sniper series 8gb | Asrock 990fx extreme4 | Adata sp900 64gb | segate barracuda 2tb | thermaltake V3 | rosewill 700w | I get a solid 60 fps all the time. I live in the middle of a corn field in Ohio so internet is scarce except for nextgenaccess off a silo a mile down my road. Already paying $70 a month for 3 megabits , which was more than enough before. speeds haven't slowed any. And i don't think it would all the sudden start using more bandwidth.
