Hi guys, I told my friend how this site help me build my own good cheap PC and he wants me to ask for a low end PC build. He needs a new PC as his recently broke and I told him he could save more money buying the parts and building it himself as opposed to buying one from PC World, which is where he bought his last PC.

He wants to build a low end PC. His budget is around £200 - £300 (UK). There is no need for a mouse/keyboard or monitor. He only needs to buy a case and all the parts inside. He mainly uses a PC for browsing the web and streaming videos. He stresses that he would want a PC ideally for streaming videos as he doesn't play games at all.

Thanks!

if he only wants it for streaming videos mainly, he doesn't need much and in all honesty when you get in the super low end. buying a computer is sometimes the cheaper route., anyway if you want to build, go for a core i3 processor, search for a case that comes with a power supply in the 450 watt range, grab 4gb of ddr3 1600 memory, a 1tb western digital black drive should suffice for a hdd. and no need for a graphics card as the built in i3 graphics should work just fine for non gaming needs. cheap well rated motherboard supporting 1150 socket, and ddr3 memory and lastly a dvd drive

all this should range around the 500$ USD, so around 300uk.
