Please help find a graphics card that is compatible

Hi all,

I'm looking for a graphics card that is better than the VTX3d Radeon 6670 that needs to work with a powersupply of 450w and that does not require a external power lead to run. I would like to run games in a fairly high resolution and on a high graphics preset. I am not bothered on the make of chip set or whether its AMD or Nividia.

Any card that has a 1 pin is probably fine. I would need to know the rest of you build to check though.

The Nvidia GTX 640 may be suitable. It would run using a 450w PSU, though i don't know what else is in your system.

Can you tell us the make/model of the PSU? And do you have a std tower PC or a slimline?

if your psu has one 6 pin connector , get R9 270
without connectors
HD 7750 , GT 640 , R7 250

okay, i have a AMD FX-6300 3.5ghz overclocked to 3.7ghz, a corsair VS450, 8gb's of DDR3 RAM. cheers

You can do better than the HD 7750 with that PSU. Take Whitecat's advice and step up to a faster card if funds permit.
