Hi there I am thinking of building my own gaming pc. The main uses I will need it for is gaming, surfing the net and video editing.
I have always used intel in the past but at my budget it seems AMD is more sufficient. I was wondering if people have any suggestions for parts etc that would be able to run games and sony vegas well.

I would be open to AMD or intel solutions.

This is a build I put together what do you think? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2FfZ6

You has a good AMD build for vegas. Check out one good intel biuld:

Build seems pretty solid for a gaming/video editing PC. The 7870 is decent but I'd try going for an R9 280x depending on what kind of games you are playing!
