Will my Antec EarthWatts 380W run this system?
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 750K (im not oc'ing)
GPU: Radeon HD 7970
RAM: 2x4 Team Vulcan
HDD: 500gb caviar blue
Mobo: ECS A75F2-A2

Solution
The Athlon is rated for about 100W and the 7970 will pull about 250W all from the 12V rail, thats 350W from a 12V rail that is only rated for 336W. It might do it for a little while, but you are going to quickly kill that PSU and even good units can die catastrophically.

Drop down to a 7950 and actually get a PSU meant to run a graphics card of that size.

There was a PSU calculator from ThermalTake that said that this setup would take about 373 watts lol, can you recommend any cheap $30 PSU that will work? I'm on a REALLY strict budget..

Doesn't matter. A 7970 requires 1 x 6pin and 1 x 8 pin PCI power connections. That 7970 won't even start up because the 380 only has 1 x 6 PCI connection.

Never cheap out on a PSU. Look to spend about 50-60 bucks.
