Okay.. I am new to this all.
I have:
HP P7-1414
AMD A8-5500 AP
MSI 7778 Ver 1.0
6 Gig DDR3 (waiting on 8 Gig DDR3 ordered so.. will be 14 Gig)
1TB HD
AMD Radeon HD 7560D (UPDATE: Just bought this card ASUS 2GB GDDR5 DIGI+ VRM technology Graphics Cards HD7770-2GD5)
Windows 8.1
in an HP ATX case
Slot available is the PCIe x16 2.0
Bought a replacement PSU (Corsair GS 800)
and Looking at Graphics cards .. budget for the Graphics card is about $200
I have two monitors to with DVI-D as options
Any help??
UPDATE: Bought the ASUS 2GB GDDR5 DIGI+ VRM technology Graphics Cards HD7770-2GD5, and when I installed it.. (plugged it into the PCIe slot, and hooked up the power supply to the card) it gives 6 beeps, and doesn't let me view anything on the HDMI connection. I shut it down, then unplugged the power supply, then move the HDMI cable over to my integrated connection for the Radeon 7560D that is part of the board, leaving the ASUS plugged into PCI slot, just not hooking up the power to it.. it boots, without beeps and I can get on here as you see now. But, that is NOT using the GPU I just bought (brand new).. thoughts?
I am looking at the XFX Double D R9-270A-CDFC Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 since it has a free game with it (BF4)
Mostly using the PC for work, goofin around on SL, and playing games just sounds like a fun addition!
