Hello everyone!

Windows 7 Home Premium seems to be having a bit of a problem... Whenever I log in I get a black screen with functioning cursor and CTRL+ALT+DEL functionality. I can open programs by using the New Task function, but the Control Panel responds EXTREMELY slowly. This is Windows 7 Home Premium on a Sager NP9150 laptop. The only way I've found to access the GUI is by ending the dwm.exe and explorer.exe processes and restarting them. Unfortunately the dwm.exe doesn't restart when I enter it into a new task. Once the GUI is up, I lose my personalization settings on my Task Bar (color and modified start orb), Although I keep my background. I can launch some programs like Google Chrome and Adobe Photoshop CS5, but Skype and Steam simply do not display, although they run as processes. MS Word 2013 is simply stuck on the loading screen. The network icon always gives the connecting icon although I am connected, and clicking on it does nothing, however volume and remaining power work fine. I started getting the black screen about an hour previously, when I restarted my computer as Steam wasn't connecting after a period offline. I have checked the REGEDIT values of shell and userinit, and they are correct. I have also attempted a system repair and restore from the F8 boot menu, with no avail. Can anyone help me fix this?
