So, I am in need of an upgrade for my PC, which is quite old now. I use this computer for everyday use and for casual gaming.

I'm looking to buy some new PC parts, while keeping as many of my current parts since my budget isnt too large.

My current PC "specs" is as follows;

AMD athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5200+, 2 GB Ram, Western Digital WD Caviar 320 GB Harddrive, Nvidia GeForce GT 240 Graphics Card by Galaxy, Abit NF-M2 nView Mother Board, and, Antec SL350 350 Watt Power Supply.

Parts I don't need(for upgrading): Mouse, Keyboard, Monitor, Optical Drive, OS.

My budget is only that of $350.

Again, i'm looking to updrage my PC as much as i can, with the $350 budget, while keeping as many parts as I can, to reduce cost of an upgrade.

Basically, I just want to be able to get a little better preformance when it comes to gaming. Obvisouly, with such low current specs, and a low budget, i'm not thinking I can get good enough parts to run games on ultra, but as long as I can at least increase the preformance I get now, i'll be happy.

Any, and all replies/advice are greatly appriciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

No problem, heres a list to get you started. You can swap out any parts you don't want, these are just suggestions:

-Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132045

-CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113281 (I believe you can crossfire with GPU, but I'm not sure)

- GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127687 (Grapics arn't top of the line, but they are pretty impressive for your price range, and will beat last gen console, especially if you can combine it with your CPU)

- Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811144272

Comes out to Aproximately $329 (you may need a new power suppy I'm not sure if 350watts will cut it)

Keep:
-Hard drive
-Power supply
-keep GPU (only because it's possible to do SLI with this card)

Ebay as much of everything else as you can. I'm sure you can raise your budget up at least a bit. The processor and case are probably still sellable items to the right buyer.

Thank you for the reply Donny.

Do you, or anyone else, have any specific parts you could suggest?

Maybe I should of been a little more clear, I apologize for that, but I was actually hoping someone could possibly throw together a possible build mixing the parts of I have now, with some ones I can purchase.

I'm not super PC savvy, so I dont exactly know what parts can go with what, or what parts are compatible with any parts I may keep that I currently have.
