Stupid question here!

Hello all, When I was trying to reset the bios today in my P8 Z77 VLK motherboard I thought the jumper switch was a small blue box like thing and I kind of lost where it went... I know it was on the far left hand side of the motherboard it's not the three pronged one either

did this thing in fact plug in to the motherboard? the cmos jumper will be right by the battery.

Read your motherboard manual (can download it online if you misplaced it) if you need.

You usually just JUMPER for a second then remove it, otherwise your BIOS will keep being reset if it's left on.

It was the jumper looked like it wouldn't fit but it was thanks for the help and sorry for wasting time.
