Hello everyone, so my monitor has been acting weird lately. Lately, whenever i turn my pc on the monitor flickers and i see horizontal lines running down it and i hear a sound then it turns goes to black.In order for it to stay on i need to keep on turning the monitor on and off until it stays on. And even when its on i can still see the lines but faintly though. So today i was playing War Thunder and all of asudden, the monitor goes to black (it was still on). I turn it off then on but all i see is grey and i hear that sound then it goes back to black. No matter how much i try, all is see is grey. Is it my monitor that is faulty or something else? I might test it by using my tv as the monitor. Thanks in advance.

-Cpu: AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800+ 2.00 Ghz
-Video card: Nvidea Geforce 7300 GS
-PSU: Corsair cx 400
-Mobo: Asrock Alive nf4g-dvi
-RAM: 4GB ddr2
UPDATE:It seems like it is my monitor because i plugged in the pc to my tv and it was working fine. Can someone suggest me a good gaming monitor that is $150 or less? Preferably from newegg
