I recently bought a PC off craigslist for $500 and it's been working fine for the past week. However, I have thought about overclocking GPU and/or CPU. I have never overclocked before, so I'm really new to this. Is it a good idea to overclock my PC?

Also, motherboard: MSI z77A-g43
CPU cooler: Geminii S524
Case fans: 2x Cooler Master MegaFlow 200

Idle Temps:
CPU ~20°C
GPU ~35°C

Temps while gaming (mostly PlanetSide 2)
CPU ~35°C
GPU ~58°C

Edit: Temps are according to Speccy

You could try, but the performance increase would be minimal. Unless you are lucky, cause some chips overclock better than other same ones. A successful overclock of your gpu might give you I think around 2 to 5 more frames/sec depending on the title. Not enough though to raise detail level..

i think run default is good idea ( no headache )
nothing to do with i3 3220 , it's locked / want OC CPU get K series ! and GTX 650 (midle ) depend cooler reference. overclock with Afterburner ..
