Phone and computer not reading micro sd

Last night my phone was working fine. This morning it said something about sd card removed. When I placed in and rebooted it still made it seem as though it was not mounted. I attempted on my computer and it didn't show up either. Please help. I have many memories in that sd card. What can I do? Please help! :(

You could try something like Recuva to attempt retrieve files from the micro SD card if you can get the computer to recognize it. If you are able to recover the files you should immediately make a back up copy of those files. What OS are you using (Windows XP, Windows Vista, 7 or 8)?
