1300 dollar gaming pc
Hello, I want to build a $1300 AMD build including an FX 8350 and a R9 280X I need help with all parts. I would also like an ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 as the motherboard. I play Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, and DayZ. I would like to keep the budget at no more than $1300. Thank you
got you 120 dollars under budget with a 120 gb ssd and 1 tb 7200 rpm hard drive
the gpu is r9 280x 3gb
cpu: amd fx 8350
cpu cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler/ cause the stock cooler is shit
mobo: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
ram: 8gb 1600 mhz corsair dominator ram
case:Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Titanium Grey) ATX Mid Tower Case
psu: Antec High Current Gamer 750W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
this would be a great build espicially with mantle comes out soon. i put the 750 watt psu so you can at least crossfire in future and the case looks really good.
Any particular reasons you want to stick with the 8350 and 280X? The FX-8320 is much cheaper than the 8350 and basically performs the same, except the 500mhz difference which can easily be overclocked.
Also, the 280X inflated in price due to the high demand by bitcoin miners. The GTX 770 is in stock, is cheaper, and performs the same, more or less.
If you want to push the 8350 in overclocking get a Noctua NH-D14 instead of a hyper 212 evo.

it was a old post to thread for a 1200 dollar build. yeh it would be better to go noctua nh d14 or water cooling
