I updated my windows xp after installation, and I had 4 different settings for my screen resolution, and know I have 2. And they are the 2 lowest resolutions. I don't want to do a system restore, because I don't wont to lose my programs, and settings. Please help...

Judging by your problems I would say that you need to update your graphics drivers to the latest version. After that THEN you have more resolution choices to pick from it.
