Whenever I am playing games or even using the internet my computer just randomly crashes I get messages like "Display driver has stopped working but successfully recovered" when BF4 I get DirectX errors almost 3-5 minutes into playing time when I play games like Arma 2 or the DayZ standalone game I get white texture flares all over my screen when I play Skyrim my game just randomly freezes and then textures start getting messed up sometimes my screen just turns all yellow and I have to restart my computer... Please if anyone knows why my computer is doing this please help me!

I have replaced my motherboard and video card once already and it didn't seem to fix anything..

Here are my specs

CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight Core Processor 3.50Ghz

CPU: GTX 660 2gb (No overclock or anything)

Motherboard: Asus M5A97 R2.0

RAM: 8Gb DDR3

Harddrive: 2TB

Thanks!

I would start by completely uninstalling your NVidia driver. Just use the Windows driver and don't play any games until you are sure everything is stable on the desktop. Put the Windows disk in and choose repair, it just repairs any missing or corrupt system files. It may come back and tell you it didn't find any missing files. Housekeeping: Run CCleaner, a virus scan, a "check for errors" - the long version that checks for bad sectors from the Tools Tab of HD properties, and an advanced defrag from O&O or DiskKeeper that will reorganize and defragment all your files. It takes a long time. If it is fast, that's the wrong type of defrag! BF4 is still a mess, too many people with all types of hardware are complaining. How are all...

DO you have an aftermarket CPU cooler and good airflow in your case. Now re-install the newest NVidia driver yourself!

It may be that a windows dll file is corrupt. I have had some issues with video drivers failing and other instabilities. I did not discover this until windows started failing to be able to run updates. You might want to consider having windows do repair from your operating system disk. I had many issues with getting drivers and hardware to work right only to find that a operating system was the issue.
