Need laptop for game making

Hi I will be graduating in May and will have about 3G to spend of a laptop for college and I will be going with windows. So iv been looking a lot at the razer blade pro. I absolutely love it but iv looked around and msi has a lot better ones for the same price or even cheaper and so do other company's so I was wondering what you guys thought. Do you any better alternatives or when razer is planing on updating its razer pro line of laptop. Thanks for the help.

What you're paying for with the Razer Blade Pro is really the style and thin-ness. An alternative is the MSI GS70 stealth, far better performance for money: still quite thin, with better specs. Here's a little comparison:

PROCESSOR AND GRAPHICS:
Both systems are equal here

MEMORY
GS70: 16GB
Blade: 8GB

STORAGE
GS70: mSATA + large capacity HDD
Blade: mSATA

PRICE
GS70: ~1800
Blade: ~2500

In the 17inch thin and light gaming category (because there's so much competition in this gigantic market segment) these are the two main competitors, and the MSI GS70 Stealth win by a landslide.
