Need help bad...total beginner when it comes to diagnostic stuff for my computer but recently I've been having a lot of unexplained crashes and just my computer shutting off for no reason at all. I've got the Asus G73JH and when I get back on I see stuff saying "SOLVE ISSUE WITH AMD-DISPLAY ADAPTER-ATI MOBILITY RADEON" and also "AMD/ATI VIDEO DRIVER"

problem is I have all the latest drivers and whatnot and even did a re-rolled my system to one that worked. I've also noticed my comp gets VERY hot sometimes on the numpad. Installed a program to see temp and it gets only to about 70 if not a little more. I just need help figuring out what to do or what is going on.

The green lines showing up are "artifacts" which usually point to a GPU driver or heating problem. Although since you did roll-back your computer to a previous date, and also reinstalled the drivers, I'm still leaning towards a heat issue. If you have an extra hard drive laying around, try a clean install on that computer and see if that resolves your issues.

Looks like you have two cooling fans for that computer. There is one under the number pad, and one the left side. (One for CPU and one for the GPU) You did state that you computer has been getting hot, so the first thing I would try is using canned air and cleaning the fans and cooling fins. From experience I would lean towards the CPU getting too hot. Most computers shut down when that happens, where as a lot of times when the GPU is getting too hot you start seeing artifacts or the screen just freezes. If that doesn't fix your problem, then you may need to go into safe mode and completely delete the current video drivers off that computer and re-install the latest version of the AMD drivers.

Well I've tried blowing them out already and I've done the reinstall of previous versions as well as the new versions and it does it on each one both old and new but still it maxes out around 70c for the heat of the GPU and I'm not entirely sure what 'artifacts' means. Sometimes the screen likes to flicker and green lines show up but its very brief.
