Im going to make a new build around next week and I was looking around local shops for parts. All of a sudden I saw an R9 270x with 4gb of Vram for about 20% more than the 2gb one and I wonder if its worth it.

Im going to use the build will be used for gaming, hopefully the next 3-4 years.

The other parts i consider are:
ASUS M5A97 EVO
AMD FX-8350
Corsair CX 750 watts
Corsair Vengeance 4x4gb ram

The resolution ill be using will be a single monitor 1920x1080 but maybe in few months i might consider adding another one + maybe going crossfire.

Hey

You don't need 4GB DDR5 ram for 1080p monitor.
1080p will never use the full memory of it ( max 1,5 GB for 1080p )

And you won't have any fps increase if you get a 4GB DDR5 graphics card on 1080p.

If you want more monitors you should think about 4GB DDR5 :)

What if in time I add another monitor and go crossfire? Will the 4GB DDR5 make a difference then?

Yes, 2x 1080p monitors will use 3 GB DDR5
If you go with one 270x 2GB you will get a decent fps decrease which you don't want!
