Just built a new machine and when i go to the device manager my graphics card, an ASUS Radeon HD 7870 isn't showing up. All that its showing is the Intel(R) HD graphics 4600. My motherboard is an Asrock h87 pro4. I've tried to install the cd that comes with the card but when i try and run it it says "Please install VGA cards of ASUS" The lights on the card are on, the fan is spinning, it's in the PCIe slot and that is whats selected to run first on my motherboard's bios, so I'm at a loss as to what the problem is.

Any help would be great.

thanks for the help, but I'm just an idiot. I only plugged one of the two power cords into it. Apparently my brain saw one green and one red light as two green lights....

Anyway, got it all sorted out.
did you install the intel chipset drivers from asrock and is the mb bios up to date to rule out a bios bug.
also in the bios if it set to peg/pci is your video cable on the mb video port or the gpu?? if the gpu shows no video check in the bios that muilt monitor support is on so both gpu will turn on and on the motherboard the 4 or 8 pin cpu/video power port is plugged in.
