internal VS external DVD burner?

Im going ro make a mITX system in a bitfenix prodigy. Now I am not sure what way to go with the opticaldrive. I dont use it that much you see, but I do have acouple of games like NFS etd laying arround. Would they play properly n a usb dvd drive as the shop states they arent as fast as internal ones.

Also something to note, using an internal one would mean replacing the h100i for an h80i.

Is an internal dvd drive that much better here or should imstick with the usb one?

usb will work just fine, dvd optical drives are at the end of their life so the speed difference is not really so relevant

edit: for better speed you could use a usb flash drive to copy the dvd image and than use a dvd drive emulator (daemon, alchohol)

Ok. Well say if I do get an internal one and go with a h80i instead of a h100i. I have a 140mm outtake in the back the h80i pushpull outtake in top and 230mm front intake, would it affect casetemps much to do that downgrade?

True, I havent used mynlaptops one in months. Only 1 time in last september to burn a cd f8r my grandpa :p

Well than I know enough, still doubing if I should wait for corsairs new full tower but I dont feel like waitinf another 1 or 2 months..
