which laptop to buy

Solution
I don't know if 4000 INR is much money, but if you can afford it, this Dell Vostro will give you a good performance advantage compared to the laptops you first searched.

If you must stay within 30000 INR, than this other Vostro will do the trick:

None of them is really suited for the sort of work you're willing to do.
Would you kindly give me more information about your available budget? Also, should I search on this flipkart site for you?

Sticking to your suggestions, I'd say that you'll be better with the Samsung one. There are severe limitations on it, though. Only 2GB of RAM being an example.

I'd suggest you HP Pavilion 15-n020AX. It has a dedicated GPU (you'll need it for your work) and a larger HDD.

Because, HP has a better durability and reliability and also great after-sales support. Also, it's an excellent brand in my 12+ years of experience. Samsung is relatively new to the laptop business.

I'd suggest you to go for a dual core i3 from Intel over AMD if you want efficiency and longer battery life. If battery life isn't a factor, HP Pavilion 15-n020AX is your best bet.

I agree with you about the larger RAM and HDD being really nice, but the processor on it just too weak for the sort of work the OP is willing to do.
It has 4 underpowered Jaguar cores that can barely tie a Bay Trail Atom on CPU tasks.

As for the GPU, whilst the HD 8670M is faster than the HD 4000, this doesn't add much to the OP needs. Also, with such a weak CPU the gaming (if he's going to game at all) shall take it's toll and the HD 8670M result won't be actually good enough to justify the purchase of the A4 SoC over the Core i3.
