cant access my bios

hi i bought a new graphics card and when i installed it i couldn't access my bios and it took around 1min to boot up windows wasn't too suspicious. so i installed the drivers and rebooted and the same thing happened couldn't get to bios and took the same amount of time to boot . i have taken the graphics card out and i have no problems getting to the bios also takes next to no time at all to boot windows. can any one give me any suggestions to what it could be?
my hardware components are
i5 3470, 8gb corsair vengeance (1600mhz), biostar h77mu3, corsair rm 750, ssd 240gb,evga gtx 780 ti sc

I'm thinking that the original video card was on-board and that it isn't disabled causing an interrupt conflict. But other than that hmm. I would try what many will suggest.

Try resetting the BIOS to factory settings before installing the video card.
ALSO... when you say that you can't get to the BIOS I hope that you are booting and not using sleep or hibernate as when in those modes access to the BIOS is restricted.

i was using an gtx 660 ti before and didnt have this problem and i do a full restart on the pc as for on board graphics i have seen nothing to do with switching it off not saying its not there i just haven't found it

Thanks. I don't think that I need to say that this is a conflict.

The long delay in booting is common with hardware conflicts. But as for a solution....

Ahh, perhaps it is the mobo and CPU. I see that the mobo supports cpus with GPUs in them. And your CPU does have a GPU in it.

Perhaps search your BIOS or the web for how to use this CPU/MOBO with another video card. Hope that helps.

no my cpu does have a gpu inside wasn't the problem. i fixed it in the end i had to clear the bios

Glad to here that. I looked up the I5 3470 and it said that it had a GPU in it. So much for the Net.
