Hi ,

My PC is running fine with SEGATE 500GB HDD but When i installed 1 more 500GB HDD of WD its showing problem. WD hard disk is working slow but segate HDD is working fine. Whats the reason? System Configuration : Dual Core 3.6, 4GB RAM, Lenovo Mother Board and G41 Chipset. Please suggest what should i do to fix this issue?

Would you be able to hook it up externally? I don't know what your eventual plan I but I have found external drives advantageous in ways I didn't anticipate. For example, the external drive can be turned off when not in use and can be switched on almost instantly when necessary. Of course they are also portable.

Did you connect the original WD HDD to a different sata port on your mobo when you put in the new one? if so then you probably plugged it into a older version of SATA port which would limit your HDD speed. Therefore if you only have one newer SATA port then you should hook the HDD to a USB 3.0 port using an adapter

First check over here: Newegg PSU Calculator
to see if your Power supply can provide enough power to run the drive, then try that^^^^

but you will need the right connector for it that provides enough power and fast enough.
