These sorts of issues usually come down to drivers (video and/or motherboard chipset), BIOS revisions (motherboard/GPU compatibility), or heat and/or power issues.

What are you CPU and GPU idle and loaded temperatures? Also, what make/model of PSU are you using?

What speed is your memory operating at (1333, 1699, 1866, or the rated 2133)? And, are you OCing the GPU?

Well i am managing to run games like crysis on high settings no problem that is why i dont understand why fifa 14 wont run smoothly.
My idle temperatures are cpu 26 degrees celcius, gpu 25 degrees celcius, loaded my cpu is at 52 degrees celcius and gpu 48.
Memory is operating at the rated 2133 i used cpuz to check that. The gpu is stock and my psu is corsair rm 750w.

enabling "Wait for Vsync" works for me too, fifa14 runs really really really smooth then...

but in my case, my pc then shuts down after like 10 minutes, so right in the middle of the 2nd half -,-
i can only complete a match when I disable it, so with lag.

anyone know how to fix that?

my specs:
Windows 7 (64-bit)
Intel Core i5-450M
4 GB DDR3 Memory
NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M
