I do some video recording, http://www.youtube.com/hitchhikerg3 and I do a lot of gaming. I need a microphone for around $100 that will pick up almost everything. I understand, ALMOST everything is hard, but here's my situation:
I record, and there is stuff going on around me. Most of the time, you can hear my brother's clicking, so I am thinking of an unidirectional microphone.
I have a giant desk with lots of space, so size is not a problem.
I don't exactly have the space for wobbly stands, but I would like to have something that is very nice.
I do however have the space for stands on my desk, but it can't fall over onto me.
I'd also like to be able to pick it up at times, but not have it sitting on a desk.
I have the EarForce PX3, but it is not exactly... durable. I understand I can get a headset, but it is a pain in the neck, because I need my mic to be positioned very nicely below my chin for my breathing to not be heard.
Also, is it possible to mount the mic to a camera? I don't need a camera though.
Thanks!
