We would like to connect four identical printers (Ethernet ports only) to our existing wireless network. Ideally these printers would be set up on a cart for mobility, hence the need to be wireless. I believe some kind of an WAP or router, with enough ports for the printers, that can connect wirelessly to our existing router would do the trick. Uncertain though about any issues and whether existing router and new WAP/router should be same manufacturer. Any firmware/IP issues to be addressed?

Thanks

Yes, that's what I was thinking but was unsure. The power situation would be resolved with a power strip, idea being that the printers and bridge, plugged into it, and everything on the cart, could be moved to wherever, the strip plugged in and everything powered up for use. Would the bridge need to be from the same manufacturer? We would probably upgrade our existing router at the same time anyways.

Thanks
