What do you think of this build and can you recommend a case?

I'm in the process of building my next gaming/multimedia pc. I am putting it together in a few days could you guys recommend a few things and see if it looks good?

Specs:
I7 4770k 3.50ghz CPU
G skill trident x 16 gb ram
Samsung evo 250 gb SSD
WD 2tb 7200 rpm HDD
Asus maximus vi hero motherboard
Corsair rm750 gold edition PSU

I'm currently going to be putting my old 6950 in there but will be changing it when 290x with aftermarket coolers come, maybe crossfire in the future.

I found a thermaltake gt level 10 for £190 on amazon and debating in whether I should get this. If not what case would you recommend? I'm also planning on playing 1440p at 120 hz.

Will be overclocking but new to this.

The build is probably a bit expensive for the performance it provides. The i7, 16Gb of memory and 250Gb SSD are all tied to usage as to whether or not they have much value, and the motherboard, while very nice, is very expensive.
There's also an issue with regards to having an RM750 PSU. It's not terribly well priced, but more importantly, 750W is too much for a single R9 290X, and too little for two of them.

If you want a high end case, the NZXT Phantom 630/820 are pretty great options. At a slightly more reasonable price range, you have the Corsair 650D/750D/600T, Coolermaster HAF X/Cosmos SE/Storm Strker/Storm Trooper, Fractal Design Define R4/Define XL/Arc Midi/Arc XL
There's a huge amount of choice depending on what you are looking for design/size wise.

I see. Mind that most of what I am getting is currently on sale (ram from 200 to 130, mobo 190 to 140 etc) but what would you recommend as replacements for these components?

It's just a general observation really, without a price listing for each component, and also what you specifically intend to do with them, it's pretty hard to say if something is worth it.

At £140, the Mobo isn't entirely unreasonably, but given you can get something like an Asus Z87-A or Z87-Plus for £100-110, it's still relatively expensive unless you need a specific feature it provides.
The memory I was more referring to the volume. 16Gb of memory is only useful if you need 16Gb of memory. Again, it's application based. For gaming alone, it's really not worth it, and 16Gb memory kits start at around £100.
The i7, much like 16Gb of memory, is a bit superfluous for gaming. You'd have to look into specific task performance based on your usage, for video editing etc it makes a lot more sense.
If you want a PSU to cover R9 290X Crossfire, you want to be looking at at least 850W, though it's worth considering if you actually need this. 1440P is relatively demanding, but a single 290X is pretty powerful at that resolution.

I'm looking to future proof mostly with the odd use for it here and there, not sure if it justifies it though.
CPU 210
Psu 90
Ram 130
The hdd and ssd are ok at 60 and 120 (need an upgrade over my two 500gbs anyway) and I'm big on gaming so I'll use the space on the ssd. If I'd be cross firing I'd be running triple 1440s I should of made that clearer but this is sometime in the future.
