Hi guys. I'm building a new rig (first time). I've got all components set out except the PSU as I'm not sure which is safest
Specs:
Processor: i5 3570K @3.4 GHz
Motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
Primary HDD: Sandisk 128 GB SSD
Secondary HDD: 500 GB SATA WD Caviar
GFX Card: MSI GTX 760 2 GB OC Twin Froze
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB

I'm not looking to over clock the CPU yet, and the card is factory overclocked so I won't touch it. In the far future I may buy another 760 to SLI. But for now, what PSU wattage do you guys recommend as the safest with single GPU and factory settings?
Thanks.
(sorry if this has been answered before. I'm new here)

For now 550 watts is good for you.
But as you intend to do overclocking and sli then you should go with 850 watts as it will give some headroom for future upgrade.
Buy from seasonic ,corsair or xfx.

On amazon it says the 760 can use up to 500w. I've checked some benchmarks and it can use around 350w on battlefield 3 full load. Is 500-550 safe as you guys say? Or should I go for 600?

Amazon is telling you the manufacturer minimum suggested power supply. 500 to 550 W would be about perfect for a single GTX 760. Assume a 2nd one would take another 200 W so for dual cards you would want 750 W about.
