Ok so I'm planning on building my 1st PC and I'm trying to keep the budget between $800-$900. This is what I've come up with: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2FGLj
I would like to be able to run battlefield 4 at 60fps on medium or so settings, and the machine will be mainly used for gaming. Are there any parts i should change out to get more bang for my buck? Any advice would be appreciated.

The build looks good. I, personally, would get Windows 8.1 with a new system. It includes the latest Directx and has other improvements over Windows 7. It's also slightly faster than Windows 7 most of the time. If you configure it to boot straight to the desktop and use normal desktop apps instead of modern apps you will be surprised how similar it is to Windows 7.

I would do a major change in this build change the i5 for an fx 8320 change you motheboard to an asrock extreme 4 change the hdd to an sshd at the least. i own this case and no don't get it the side fan will make terrible noise after you open it for the first time and that psu isn't enough get a decent 600watt at least. and with the saved money get yourself an better videocard.
my build was 800€ straight off:
fx 8320
zalman z9 plus
8 gb corsair vengeance 1600mhz
hd 7870
asrock 970 extreme 4
1 tb hdd (wd possibly)
120gb samasung evo
corsair b 600 (only europe compatible)
a hyper 212 evo for the cpu ocing
and a random dvd drive
