They're pretty close to each other. Based on Tom's latest "best card for the money" article, the R9 270 gets the recommendation at 180$ price point, and the GTX-760 gets the recommendation at 250$. This means you'll get pretty much the same bang for the bucks no matter how much you spend.

It outperforms the other two in games, yes. It also costs more, so bang/buck will be similar.

In general, for gaming, yes it is better than the other two.

Unless you play Battlefield 4 which favors AMD cards or do asic mining for which AMD cards are much more efficient.
