I had a working p8p67pro setup for a couple of years. It always had an issue with detecting my SSD and would sometimes require several boots before it detected it correctly, but it always posted and ran through it's normal process. I tried changing something in the bios the other day (I think I tried turning on EZboot or something like that in hopes that it would fix my SSD issue) and as soon as I restarted it the computer gave me no post and the red vga_led. I tried various seating and removing of my ram, I tried a different working vga card, and I tried resetting my bios with the battery and pin resets. I feel like it is a bios problem not a hardware problem since it worked for 3 years and then one day I change the bios setting and now it won't even post.

Is there any way to flash the bios even though it won't post? Maybe to an updated bios that might fix the problem?

Is there anything else I should test before getting a new motherboard? I don't have an easy way to test the PSU or CPU. The PSU is a Thermaltake Toughpower XT 850-Watt ATX 2.3 Power Supply and the green light indicator seems to say it is still OK (also I have a hard time believing that the PSU or CPU would happen to cause my MB not to post at the same exact time I make a bios setting change).

When clearing the CMOS, was the power cord unplugged?
Have you tested different PCIe slot?
