Computer keeps restarting while I'm using it.

I'll be using my computer usually playing a game, but sometimes just surfing the internet and then boom. black screen, then my computer restarts up on it's own. I've tested my memory using windows diagnostic tool, I've pulled the PSU out and tested the voltages with a voltmeter, I've checked system files with windows the windows file checker. Any ideas what else it might be?

Take a look at your event viewer and see if anything was logged.

overheating maybe? my pc used to do that, does your bios report any overheating?

I'm pretty sure it's not over heating. I built it back in December, and it's been running fine all this time. It stays fairly cool. This just started this weekend.

Fans for the PC are often built rather cheaply....and if they lose their ability to move air because of a malfunction, heat can increase. Also, components do fail - sometimes they are not a 100% failure, and those intermittent failures, especially when temperature related, are difficult to diagnose....
